After a cosy festive season, lots of Island parties, celebrations and warm nights in the bar we are rapidly approaching Easter! We're starting to gear up for a busy season ahead. Summer Events

Our ever popular Seafood Buffets will take place on the 30th July, 27th August and 24th September, booking for these evening is essential - for more informaion please do call us on 01852 300 022. These evening feature the very best in local shellfish and seafood, lobster, crab, scallops, salmon, langoustines and much much more!

Cocktail Night - Friday 5th August

Between 8pm and 11pm we will be serving a selection of delicious cocktails and mocktails for you to enjoy. An 11 o Clock ferry will be available.

Keep your eyes peeled for some more events that are to be confirmed over the next week or so, including bingo and kareoke!

27th Feb - Pub Quiz - Starting at 8pm, its £5 for a team of 3 and the winning team takes the pot!

6th March - Mothering Sunday Roast Lunch - With the option of one, two or three courses, join us and treat your mum to a delicious lunch.

12th March - Murder Mystery - more info to follow!

9th April - Seafood Buffet - Showcasing a wonderful range of locally sourced Seafood, followed by a homemade dessert. Booking Essential.

23rd April - Championing Sea Vegtables with Slate Island Seaweed - Chef Des will be creating a unique 5 course menu that will have been created to showcase exciting ingredients. Booking Essential.

February - Mid March 2016 Opening hours:

The Tearoom and Bar is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 3pm for light lunches, home baking, and refreshments. (On a Sunday the bar opens 12:30pm - 3pm)

The Bar is open 7:30pm-Late Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

The Restaurant is open Saturday evenings from 6pm, pre booking is essential by phoning 01852 300 022.


Winter Opening Hours

Winter has definitely arrived in Argyll. Plenty wind and rain but every so often we get a cold crisp day when the views go on forever and there's a sprinkling of snow on the hills.

The restaurant is now closed for the season however the tearoom and bar are open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm (last orders 2.45pm) and the bar is open Mon & Thurs eve 7.30pm-late and Fri & Sat eve 6pm-late. On a Thursday evening we usually have a food theme night where everyone brings a dish (sweet or savoury) and we all sit down and share. Check out the facebook page and come and join us. Friday night is darts night and the winter league is already underway. 8 teams from the three pubs (Puffer, Oyster & T&T)are taking part this year so come along and cheer them on. It's all good fun with quite a lot of us not exactly the greatest darts players!

Hampers a go go...

It's all go in the kitchen as we prepare all the jams, chutneys, cakes & confectionery ready for the Christmas Hamper orders. This year we're making our own tablet as an added choice for customers. We can assure you it is very yummy after extensive taste trials....just to make sure of course!

Our new award winning Chilli Jam will also be making its first appearance in our hamper selection. Scooping a 1 star gold at the Great Taste Awards 2013 this is a Chilli Jam full of warmth and flavour but without the fiery heat. It truly is the new funky ketchup!
